Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa Makhato Lodges

The size and space was amazing. Lots of animals roaming in the resort. Multiple pools with good facilities.

The unit/house was not cleaned well. There is an extensive inventory to be completed, easily over 200 items, we found that there were many items missing. General administration was not satisfactory, information was requested multiple times and it seemed as if they are not managing bookings in a single location.

Not much friendly quick and quiet

the service at the restaurant was very very slow and order taken although written down incorrect order came out food was ok but some of it arrived cold had to get a manager involved and seemed liek other tabel too complained about the saem things, not a great restaurant experience overall

I loved everything. Amazing place.

I absolutely loved everything except for the food. It took very long. I had to change my order twice as i waited 2 hours and the waiter told me i had to change my order. My son had chicken bones on his pizza!!!! Food was bad.

The nature reserve was beautiful,oh the staff was great made our stay extra blissful,the lodge was spacious and the kids could run around and have fun..we had zebras visiting us in the morning,deers and springboks..it was just amazing

First it should be stated that you have to have a big vehicle when visiting the resort,getting around was tricky as everything is 3km to 5km for gravel road,secondly the electricity in the lodge kept tripping alot and lastly it wasn't clean and fresh,the floors were sticky and the showers were gunky.
