Only expecting a continental breakfast but it was a full English served at whatever time we wanted. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and very well cared for. He even gave us a lift to the local pub so that we could have an evening meal and then collected us when we wanted to return. Exceptional service.

"Amazing lodge and hosts!!"

Not usually one to leave reviews,but feel i need to make an exception in this case.The lodge was deceivingly bigger than expected,very clean and comfortable and had everything inside that we could possibly need.Nigel and Catherine were amazing hosts,offering us drinks and cake on arrival,he even gave us a lift to the local pub and back for our evening meal.We enjoyed a beautiful full english in the courtyard the morning after,where Nigel and Catherine shared their knowledge of local sights and areas of interest. Cant speak highly enough of this property,will hopefully be back soon,as there is plenty in the area that we still havent seen.
