Tall Trees Eco Retreat

Beautiful location near Apollo Bay in amongst the trees. Woke up to the sound of birds and nothing else - absolute paradise. Owners were delightful, very kind people.

What an incredible birthday stay! The cabin was so cosy and surrounded by amazing wildlife. A real highlight was feeding the birds and spotting glow worms and wallabies nearby. With no internet reception, it was the perfect place for a digital detox to relax, enjoy good company, and play games. The bed was incredibly comfy, especially after a long day of driving. Thank you so much for the birthday chocolates - such a thoughtful touch! Would definitely recommend to others.

It is situated in the rain forest. One gets there on a scenic drive. The cottage is placed in an amazing natural setting surrounded by lovely animals.

No internet, which at the same time is a positive challenge

Tall Trees is exactly what it claims to be - a retreat. It is set so far back in the forest that the only sounds you hear are the birds. We loved the beautiful remote setting and the comfortable cottage, especially the beds! It was a slow and cautious drive to get there along the Barham River due to the narrow road but worth the effort. Highly recommend and make sure you go out at night to see the glow worms. Magical!
