Tho whole On the Rocks crew is incredibly helpful, calm, hospitable, knowledgeable and respectful to the nature. The place is just as calm, kept perfectly clean and ideal to relax and enjoy nature.

We saw urangutans from the restaurant so the location was perfect, good food, friendly staff, helpful owner, beautiful views from the room, nice activities to do.

It is quite a climb to the accommodation (we liked it, but we can imagine that an older person would not). the shower was cold (we didn’t care because of the heat, but we can imagine that some find it unpleasant)

Unforgettable experience at on the rocks. The personnel was amazing, so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the food in the restaurant was good and the trekking in the jungle was great, with nice and good guides and lovely food. We loved everything about our stay.

The view from my bungalow was wonderfull. Staff is very helpful. The place is nice and cozy. You need to take steps to get to the hotel but totally worth for the view and quietness. Besides, if you are going to do a jungle track, what are some steps more?! 🙂

They don’t have HOT WATER !! They will offer to boiling and they will bring to your room and they at the end will charge for boiling water !! And to get to the hotel you will need walk around 25 min up to to mountain with your luggage Only one person will come to help you ! Make sure you will stay exactly at the same room like you booked at the booking com !

Everything from the start! Once we booked, we had everything we had to know, we got instructions on how to reach bungalows. Also, Gary helped us to book a tour with Ling, a great guide, that had a respectful attitude toward the jungle. We definitely would come back. We didn't miss anything, we had good food, water in availability, total trust and attentive staff.

Only the thing that we forgot to ask for a blanket,because we were tired, so it was cold during the night.

What an amazing peaceful place and full of fauna all around. The gardens is maintained with such great care. Huge bungalow, shower was simple and rustic without warm water but it’s in the edge of the jungle. I’ve stayed one week there and Wawan took such a good care organizing jungle trek for everyone at his lodge. Always friendly and caring without being intrusive. You will see a lot of monkey just from you’re balcony and hear them at night.
