Beautiful cabin with all the amenities you need for a weekend away. Comfortable bed and stunning huge bathroom. The breakfast pack was excellent and was enough for our 2 days. On-site coffee shop was a hit, lovely service, and excellent coffee.

I'm so glad we had the means and opportunity to stay here, but the price for a night is quite steep.

"Luxury Relaxtion"

10.0

What an absolute gem! Hideaway was everything we could have wanted; perfect location, relaxing, had all the amenities we needed and it allowed us to explore Litchfield outside of peak times which meant we had many of the swimming spots to ourselves. Everything has been well thought out and all communication/instructions were clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Comfort, location.

Issues with the wifi, no cell phone coverage. The layout is a bit inconvenient (bedroom/bathroom unit is not directly connected to kitchen/living room unit, and you have to transit via outside between them).

"Uniquely fabulous stay in a natural setting"

10.0

We loved staying in Wangi hideaway, surrounded by nature, and flowering gum trees which add a special quality to the colour palette. The hideaway is furnished to complement nature perfectly and the facilities are just right, with BBQ and fire pit outside and option for cooking inside. For us, having morning coffee on the deck at sunrise was a highlight. We had many visitors; wallabies, green tree frog, huge insects and lots of birds, even a stunning pair of Forest Kingfishers on the last morning. This is a special place for unwinding and relaxing, with a welcome digital detox. The location is excellent for visiting the amazing waterfalls, creeks and rock pools. The owners are very helpful and run a nice cafe and gallery which we enjoyed visiting.

"Een belevenis"

8.0

Het ontwerp, inrichting en netheid. Werkelijk fantastisch.

10.0

Einmaliges Erlebnis weg vom Massentourismus.

"A Secluded Luxury Bush Retreat"

10.0

What a delightful discovery “Hideaway Litchfield” turned out to be. A tranquil slice of heaven in a secluded bush setting. One of three luxury cabins on this property, we stayed in “Wangi”, a two storey cabin crafted from two disused shipping containers placed one on top of the other. What a creative transformation by an imaginative and skillful family! We so loved everything about this retreat that we were reluctant to leave it and go exploring Litchfield National Park. However, the location is within 30 minutes drive of the intriguing Magnetic Termite Mounds, Buley Rockhole, Florence Falls Waterhole and is even closer to Wangi Falls so of course we did spend our day visiting these sites in Litchfield National Park. All were well worth experiencing but it was also lovely to return to our little sanctuary to relax at the end of the day. The eco, solar-powered hideaway is beautifully detailed and furnished and has everything you could need while staying there, along with a few lovely surprises left by the hosts. One morning a mob of about twenty wallabies entertained us as they zoomed around and around chasing each other through the bush in front of the cabin. It was hilarious to watch! They also grunted at each other which was something I have never heard before. There were also lots of different birds to observe landing in the trees in flocks or just individually flitting around. At night we also clearly observed many star formations including the Southern Cross and the Milky Way. So, yes, we were tucked away amid nature but in a very luxurious way. If you have the opportunity to do so, we would highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights or more.

There is nothing to dislike.
