Four Seasons Mini Zoo Country Retreat with Wood Fuel Hot Tub close to kington Market Town

The lovely host Verity went above and beyond with special touches for my birthday, loved the peace and calm, hot tub was amazing, theres a bbq and a wood burner, everything you need is there, from toiletries to teatowels, the animals are lovely, had the best nights sleep in a very long time, clean and comfortable accommodation, small but for two of you its fine, cant wait to return. Go with an open mind and remember your deep in the countryside, it's not 5 star accomadation but it's a 5 star stay and hosting, I saw some negative reviews and all I can say is don't book something like this if your not going to embrace the charm of the hut and natural surroundings.

Amazing set up ,loved seeing the animals . The hot tub was wonderful. The shepherds hut was well laid out and had great facilities, with attention to detail. There was a couple of cats as well.

I wish I'd booked a longer stay. Will definitely come back.

Friendly and accommodating. Lovely land with lots to see. Bed was supper comfy, too. Lots of nibbles and products so felt like home from home.

Accomodation not as seen on website or Not as expected calor gas heater very smelly didn’t think it was safe so we left same night we have emailed owner and wait their reply

- Location was nice. - Animals were a nice touch to be around.

- Condensation throughout the property - Very cold due to the window being constantly open for the wires and Ariel. - ‘Shop shack’ was a complete mess with out of date drinks and food. - No wood for the hot tub and wasn’t advised to bring wood. - Hut was covered in damp. - Bedding wasn’t fresh on. - No water pressure in the shower and the water was hot and cold. - Contacted the owner prior to this review for a refund as we were unable to stay the second night, very hostile response and no full refund. - New pictures on the add since my stay with directions. - No towels provided as advertised. - Gas heater which was not allowed to be left on so it was absolutely freezing in the hut and when it was on, it filled the room with the smell of gas. - Unable to put the blinds down as the sting doesn’t work. - No welcome from the owner, left to your own devices.
