Great location and plenty of room, probably needs a little refresh , looking a bit dated

The house is huge. There is so much space for a group as well as a pool table, darts and a large fireplace. The cheese platter, sparkling and breakfast items are a lovely touch. You feel away from everything while only being a few minutes walk to the cellar door, beautiful restaurant and pizzeria. The kangaroos jumping past the vineyard and pool in the morning added to the weekend!

Some new pool cues and darts would be great. I can’t think of anything else!

Location was terrific. Very quiet cottage in amongst the vines and lots of visiting kangaroos. And only a couple of minutes walk to our concert

Another wonderful stay - our third time at the Homestead. It is truly peaceful and beautiful with so much space and kangaroos everywhere! Our favourite place to stay in the vineyards.

The only glitch we experienced this time was no wifi. There was something wrong with the router and it kept turning on and then off again, flickering, but never stayed on long enough for anyone to check their messages. It wasn’t too much of a problem as we were not there for the wifi, however we had relatives with us that needed to check in for their flight home and check on its status. I called reception who said they would send maintenance, but it was not fixed. Minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.

Great location, spacious and great communication from staff. Thank you, Liz, for all your help with the bed configuration and extras ordered. Master bedroom was very spacious and comfy from what we have been told. The pool, pool table and darts kept the kids entertained after a long drive. Kangaroos coming by for a visit in the afternoon and bunnies in the morning were a bonus.

Lovely homestead but downstairs bathroom doesn't appear to be in keeping with the rest of the place - a bit tired and therefore comes across as not as clean and modern as the rest of the place.

The house is great for a large family and the property is beautiful with the vineyards, kangaroos and bunnies around, the kids loved the pool. The wine and cheese platter in the fridge was lovely and the crossiants and breakfast items a nice touch.

Overall the house needs a really good clean, there were a lot of dead bugs all over the floors and bathrooms, the floors inside were very dirty and bathrooms really need a complete renovation, they’re mouldy and rusty. It’s also very hot without aircon anywhere except for the master bedroom upstairs.
