Bimbadgen Estate Vineyard

Loved our stay at the Cottage at Bimbadgen. Such a great central location and base for visiting the Xmas Lights at Hunter Valley Gardens and enjoying all the local wineries and food offerings in the area. We felt so rested and didn't want to go home. We didn't have time to utilise the pool this time round as we were just so busy out and about, but next time we'd bring the swimmers. Beautiful outlook and next time we'd enjoy a cheeseboard on the veranda with the stunning view out to the vineyards

Not accommodation related but we missed out on wine tasting at Bimbadgen because the cellar door closed so early. We'd come from a cellar door closing at 5pm and the one before at 6pm, only to realise the cellar door at Bimbadgen closes at 4pm!! Don't make the same mistake as us, as was sad to not try the wine at the place we were staying. We should have done our research too.

What I didnt like is we only booked for a night

It was lovely, the views the nibblies, wine and breakfast was a nice touch. 👌

Probably a lounge chair and better tv reception.

The cottage is dated. In desperate need of a refresh.

This was our second stay at the Bimbadgen homestead and it was equally as magical as last time. Beautiful location, kangaroos everywhere, comfy beds and a well-equipped house. The cheese plate, sparking wine and brekkie items included was a lovely touch. Will def be staying again.
