The Miners Log Cabin

Even though its winter, the cabin was warm, very clean. The hot tub was easy to use we ended uo spending most of the night in there. Very quirky 🤪 the attention to detail was amazing.my wife loved a getaway for her birthday. Will be booking again soon to bring the kids

We absolutely loved our stay at The Miners Log Cabin - Perfect Birthday get away with a card from the hosts for my memory box and a birrhday banner on arrival very cute. The cabin was spotlessly clean with lots of quirky details in stunning surroundings! Loved reading the history of the property. The pourch with a book and a cuppa listing to the birds was my favourite place. The hot tub was lovely - even the weather was on our side in october, and the autum colours provided the best backdrop. Perfect base for exploring - we are hoping to return again soon 💕

The only thing was we...Would of liked to have some milk for arrival to go with the tea & coffee as we forgot ours and the shop was shut 🤣 Note: The entrace is tight and turns into the gate leading to the property if you are in a van like us, but it is worth it, and you soon get used to it+!

We stayed here for 3 nights after our wedding as a little "mini moon" The cabin itself was lovely. Clean and warm. The outside was beautiful and added to the whole aesthetic. Even in the down pours, it was beautiful. Drew the host had dropped off some firewood and we had a lovely time sitting outside around the fire. The heater was great and we were never cold! The toilet and shower is outside, but we knew this going into it. It was clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The hot tub was a lovely touch but unfortunately we couldn't get it to heat up - we put it down to us and not the tub itself! Lots of DVDs supplied and close to lots of restaurants and supermarkets. We went to an Italian restaurant called Bella e Buona which was absolutely amazing - we highly recommend.

The bed was a small double, again we knew this going in but it wasn't the most comfortable sleep we have had and we feel a double bed would fit nicely in the space. We could have done with some wifi purely for netflix but managed without fine.

So much attention to detail, in every corner! It was so clean, cosy and had everything we needed. I would stay here over and over again! Such a beautiful, hidden gem.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

It was fun, everywhere you looked there was something interesting and quirky. Nice and private location.

Not the easiest place to find, but photos of the gates and streets leading up to arrival, were a great help.
