The Miners Log Cabin

What a gem of a place!!!. If you're looking for pure peace and relaxation then this is most definitely the place. We bought extra wood for £12 off Drew the host and chilled by the fire pit whilst waiting on the water to warm up (roughly 1.5 hours)for the hot tub. There's a bit of woodland to wander..keep your eyes out for the quirky little touches..we've just got back and booked another night already. Only thing different we'll do is take more food,we had a lovely chinese delivered but there's a microwave, hob and the bbq to cook your own.

Enjoyed the whole stay!!

Such a beautiful little cabin with everything we needed, so peaceful and quiet! We had a lovely time and were very impressed with how amazingly clean everything was, also how thoughtfully it was designed! We loved exploring all the weird and wonderful bits and bobs and especially the random door and hot tub! Thanks for a magical stay

The cabin and garden area were perfect, amazing wood fired hot tub, and it was lovely to have the fire pit and BBQ with the option for wood top ups. We loved all the little trinkets and extra bits and bobs around that really added to the overall theme of the cabin. The area was great as it was only a short walk to the local shops and there were plenty of activities within a short drive, yet the cabin still felt secluded and private.

The bed was only a small double, not a full double. As my partner and I struggle to sleep in a small double bed this meant that we unfortunately did not sleep well, this really let the the property down as our stay would have been perfect otherwise.

Lovely secluded area, cosy lodge, with so much detail, very quirky, so peaceful. Loved the cabin, the hot tub, the fire pit and the grounds were beautiful.

Only thing I’d say is if the weather is bad the hot tub isn’t covered. So couldn’t use in really bad rain. Bed is a small double

Everything! The location is great, you wouldn’t think that somewhere like this was a stones throw from a main road. Peaceful, relaxing a perfect place to get away from the rush.

This is hands down one of my FAVOURITE getaways, we don’t live far away, it’s such good value for money to go and have a peaceful evening or weekend, sit on the porch, read, have a glass of wine, play games and chill! Weather prevailing the hot tub is amazing, we’ve been a couple of times now and cannot wait to go back
