Cabañas Sueños del Arenal

Wonderful view, comfortable, great king bed.

Could have used more hooks for hanging clothes and towels.

The views of the volcano from the Cabanas is really nice. The staff was friendly and helpful booking tours for us. Until the power outages, when they became unresponsive or slow to respond/help.

We had a unique experience with multiple power outages during our stay. The staff was slow or unresponsive during this issue. The only remedy offered was a few candles to light the room. While the staff was kind about it, and the outages were beyond their control, the lack of communication about the issues and inability to provide relief from the heat and humidity was frustrating. We arrived to the property to find it powerless and had no prior communication to expect this. The first night we were told the power would be restored in an hour or two. It was 8 hours later, at 3am that the power came back on. It was miserable with the heat and humidity so we barely slept until the AC and power worked again. No fault of the property, but being unprepared with any battery powered fans or flashlights made for a difficult experience. The following day the power was again out when we arrived back after a long day of Adventure tours, ready to shower and get clean. Again, there was no communication for us to expect this or we would have arranged to shower at a hot spring and eat dinner in town. Without electricity we were unable to cook food, keep our food from spoiling, see much in the room, or be comfortable with AC. We understand it was out of their control but the lack of protective communication was very disappointing and negatively affected our plans. Also, the property is right next to a small collection of local houses with animals, like pigs and roosters. So the stay was a bit noisy, with the rooster waking us in the morning, and noise from the locals working in their community. This was over Christmas eve and Christmas day so I'm willing to offer some understanding as they were sacrificing family time to try to accommodate us.

Wat een prachtige locatie! Enorm mooi uitzicht ( vanuit je bed zelfs!) Heel ruim appartement. Voelt veilig en luxe aan door poort waarachter je je auto zet en alarm die je op je huisje kunt zetten. S morgens vliegen de kolibries vlak voor je huisje.

Het houten buitenbankje was vrij krap voor 2 personen en we misten een tafeltje buiten maar verder was alles echt heerlijk en perfect

Fueron los mejores días que pasamos en la fortuna. Las cabañas están muy bien equipadas, instalaciones muy cómodas, había aire acondicionado , todo muy limpio y por sobre todo tiene una vista increíble!!! Además el lugar donde están ubicadas es muy lindo!! Volveríamos mil veces!
