The view in the morning, the staff suggested a nice sunrise viewing point. Glad that we only booked one night.

The access to the property is difficult even by scooter. The cleaningness of the room (a lot of dead flies close to the windows), bathroom (the bin for toilet paper was almost destroed and very dirt), pool (algea were present). There was no shampoo in the recipient but was quickly solved by the staff (still this should have been checked before arrival). Breakfast cannot be called breakfast: it is far from good. This is located on a very poor and rural area: manage your expectations before coming to Mt. Batur.

The guys were lovely and very helpful! Kadet did the sunrise trekking with us and did everything to make us feel allright. He called us a taxi to bring to restaurants and he went get us some food. The view from the room is amazing and the swimming pool is great.

The location is far away from everything which is good to relax but you are dependent on staff to get food/drinks. There is no fridge in the room. A lot of flies outside because it’s close to farms

I was not a fan of this place - What did I like? I liked leaving it. I will say though that a driver from batur cliff did come and pick us up all the way from munduk and dealt with a massive traffic jam. he was a champ, clearly very hard working and deserves credit for that.

My advice is don’t stay here. This listing is 100% false advertising. When we arrived there was no reception, just some young dudes there to greet us, the vibe was off straight away. We asked if we could have some food (the listing said there was a restaurant and bar) since we had not had lunch yet and were told there was in fact no restaurant on the property. This is just one example of the ammenities listed that were not in fact there. There’s nothing wrong with not having a restaurant or a spa or whatever, you just can’t lie about it! In the rooms there was no kettle, no hairdryer, no towels, no safe etc and also no drinking water!!! These aren’t the end of the world but just another example of this property not being what it says it is. It would likely meet your essential needs if you were desperate but it was not the kind of place we were looking for or the kind of place we thought we had booked. I should also say the road up there was unpaved and very jolty and the steps up to the room were very steep. I would stay somewhere else if I was you, we ended up moving on from this place. I feel bad being so harsh but honesty is the best policy.

The view is spectacular, the rooms are nice, cosy and clean and the best is simply the staff, Kadek is simply the best, we had the best trip ever thanks to him, he guided us, made us food, helped us so much... We'll miss him !

Absolutely delighted with my experience here! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The location couldn't be better. Highly recommend!
