"We only stayed one night and found the lodge very quiet and comfortable. We have mentioned a couple of issues that could"

8.0

The property was modern, spotlessly clean and in a very peaceful location.

The standard of decor was very good. There were a couple of issues- two of the spot lights in the main room had blown and two in the bathroom. There was a very limited selection of crockery- two side plates that were both chipped, two non matching dinner plates, two wine glasses and one tumbler. Also no WiFi connection.

"Absolutely amazing accommodation, definitely recommend and will stay again !"

10.0

Absolutely stunning area, lots of wildlife inc seeing a deer, geese, cockerel, rabbits and peacocks! Had a cockerel friend most of our stay which was fine! Fabulous bathroom with a bath and shower and the towels are fluffy and soft! Kitchen is well equipped with fridge and oven. The area is so quiet at night so sleeping in the comfy bed is no problem! Central heating warmed the lodge when it got cold. Very clean!

I didn’t know how to turn the bathroom light off (possibly a me problem)! No WiFi and signal to TV was a bit hit and miss (however hardly had it on) but they do have Netflix and other options. Also be aware that from the front gates it is a few mins drive down a long cobbly path to get to the lodge (a good 15 walk).

"Accommodation whilst visiting an unwell mother."

5.0

The room was warm, and although only one room was quite spacious.

We must acknowledge that 17 days in this type of accommodation was too long. However, as an airbnb, there were many things missing. No microwave (yes, we should have checked) Very limited supplies, enough tea and coffee for 2 days in a 17-night stay. No condiments. We had to ask for garbage bags and received 3. No change of bed linen in 17 nights. 1 new set of towels after 2 weeks. There is no mention of a rough 1.5 mile off road drive to get into the place. In a small hire car, this was quite a challenge not to damage, tyres, and under body components. No mention that to get in and out of the property, you had to negotiate a large gate. It would be quite confronting for older people. Very limited WiFi. Very weak TV reception is almost impossible to watch most channels.
