The chalets are far from the reception so the privacy is top tier👌

They can try and do better when it comes to preparing food for the guests as it takes more waiting time to eat.

Incredible owner and staff.(S/O to Francis, Sipho, Michael, Tiyani) Got upgraded to the Riverside villa at the resort. The food was great, the tranquility and privacy 👌🏽 Extra activities are there to choose from, we enjoyed the massage so much.

Nothing much. Just note that the resort is not a whole Big 5 resort, but a game drive to Kruger national park or other B ig5 reserves can be arranged.

Food was great the whole establishment and staff was great

The limited selection of food was a bit of a disappointment, stuck with muesli, yoghurt and fruits every day for 4 days no variety at all.

Good, varied food by on-property chef (Lucky); Great staff, including amazing guide (Gert); Really nice private tours as well as other private/public parcs; Clean, really nice cabins;

Francis, Sipho, Gert, and the team are amazing people who go all out for their guests! We had a truly wonderful holiday. The special add-ons were appreciated! Will definitely be back.

Pretty boutique lodge. We stayed in the honeymoon riverside villa, which was very private and secluded. Lovely room with view out to the small river and some animals. Liked the outdoor shower. Staff and owner Frances couldn’t do enough for you, always happy to see you and went the extra mile the whole time we were there for our honeymoon - we felt very special. Driver collects and drops you for meals and drives as the villa is about 1.5km from the main lodge, so you can have a drink if you like! Area outside the villa to park if you bring your own car which we did. Food was very good, lots of options. They offer several additional choices to book like Kruger drives, hot air balloon, cruise etc. We took the helicopter flight and really enjoyed it!

The toilet is not separate from the bedroom (ie no door) - not a big issue, but means you can hear everything!

Everything was wonderful. Especially the Maroelani Team: They were always extremely attentive and friendly and exceeded our expectations by far. Thanks to the Maroelani Team for this beautiful time with you!

Amazing place, excellent experience. The suite in the reserve was amazing. Living amongst the nature was exceptional. Staff were THE BEST. Gert (guide) THE SUPERMAN guide made us feel so special , he was so patient during game drives and answered all our silly questions 😂. Sipho (butler) service was top notch, spoilt us with a lot of drinks 😂. Lucky (chef) was a master chef , delicious authentic food and desserts, definitely gained some calories 😂. Finally, Francis (owner) , you made our experience so memorable, it was so personal and we were treated so well. We had a Picture perfect 10th year anniversary at Maroelani.
