Amazing amenities at a mindblowing location. Also the included food options were superb.

Had a miscommunication about the price of extra services which were taken care of but left me with a bitter aftertaste to this otherwise fantastic stay. Furthermore, some of the included services, even though they show their excellent service, felt unnecessary and a bit awkward even - for example the room making service in the evening.

From the moment we arrived, the customer service provided at the reception, in our room and dining area was exceptional. View from our room was absolutely stunning and I will never forget the incredible sunrise we were lucky to see during both mornings of our stay. As our party included two senior citizens with mobility issues, check-in staff gave us a room that was as close to the main entrance/dining area as possible. Since the restaurant is located on an upper level and requires climbing up a spiral staircase, Ngorongoro Serena's manager Erick made arrangements for us to sit on a table on the ground-floor level bar. This meant the two senior citizens were spared the challenge of climbing up the stairs. We really appreciate how Erick, Sheila at reception and all the other staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable and made a number of adjustments within the lodge to ensure my mum and aunt were comfortable. We also enjoyed the all-singing, all-dancing Serena birthday surprise I was given during dinner, which made it a very unique experience - even if it was two days before my actual birthday!! Thank you to everyone at Serena Ngorongoro for the personal touch we were given and for making it such a memorable stay.

Due to the spread of the rooms, Wifi in room was not great. But this is to be expected in remote areas and it's a small price to pay for what was otherwise an incredible stay.

Thanks to its location and the nice view this hotels sales, otherwise I would call the offer and resercation staff a rip off.

This is a mass tourist place and, we as family of 4 sleept in two rooms with 5 beds, more likely a 2 Star Dormitry than a 3* Hotel. There was no Spa e to move in the room except aroind the beds. In the reservation process they assure best treatment and room, as we wanted to book the suite for all 4 of us. Different story at reception and the upgrade we got you can refer to above.

The view from the rooms is breathtaking. The staff is very kind and professional.

I'd recommend for people to handle their park fees themselves when visiting Ngorongoro. We indeed asked the hotel to handle it for us. Although I'm a Tanzanian Resident, they made me pay as a Non-resident, bringing an extra charge of more than 100 USD. We got the information only when checking out, which I believe was made in purpose.

Great location over looking the crater to see the sunset and sunrise. Food great for breakfast and dinner. We got packed lunches as well. The hotel had a Masai show in the evening- which was a bonus.
