"Cant think of a better place for a peaceful authentic stay in tapovan/rishikesh..."

The location is like a quiet getaway from tapovan. You only hear birds and waterfalls, unbelievable! Very near to many waterfalls where you can swim for free! The price quality is very good. The gardens around the cottages very well maintained. Lots of flowers and birds. There was a free yoga class every morning, ideal for beginners The food was excellent. No stomach problems, great taste, always open. Reasonable priced. Loved it. The smiles and helpfulness of Atul and the whole staff was wonderful. They also arranged a transfer from the airport and a transfer to my next hotel for a very reasonable price.

Not much. Maybe just have the right expectations: the last part of the road is only to be driven by a 4x4. So if you want to the center... you need a hike or use al taxi. The bungalows/cottages were clean, but it's not 5 star confort (eg hard thin mattress, rather basic bathroom). But the whole experience was so good..

I had an amazing short trip to Shiv Shakti! It was a breath of fresh air from the noise/dust/intensity of Tapovan. It was so nice being in nature and I felt so at peace. The pool is lovely and its close to multiple waterfalls. Sandy & Ram were the best hosts, they truly care about making it a great experience for guests! Thank you guys for everything <3
