There was no water in the taps from approximately 10pm Before that when we wanted to bath the water was cold. No drinking water. Not enough saucers for the cups or teaspoons. The dirt road to the lodge, approximately 4/5km is in a terrible state. Due to no water we were forced to tracel back on the bad road again to find water at a garage for drinking purposes...

The setting and views are amazing!

We were “upgraded “ due to bad weather and clearly a few cancellations. The accommodation was comfortable and there was a distinct musty damp smell when we arrived but we are easy going guests and soon acclimatised.

The location is perfect. The setting and atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil and the gardens beautiful and well-tended. If its not misty, the view is lovely.

I realise one cannot do much about it but if you visit Diggers Rest in the weeklong-rainy weather that we had during our stay, the location can't be reached without a 4x4.

I loved the scenery and quietness of the place. It is so beautiful and calming. I liked that you can take a walk around the resort and everywhere you turn you get to see the beauty of nature.

It has nice views

1. They were unprofessional, apparently they weren’t expecting us and all houses were dirty. We had to wait for 2 hours for them to tidy up our house that time we arrived late around 5 so we only accessed the rooms around 19h00 2. They wanted to give us an open room and we were a group of boys and girls 3. They wanted to make us pay for an extra person and we had already sorted it out with them 4. The house was very dirty and smelly 5. The stuff is very rude and doesn’t respect people’s privacy
