The unit was clean and everything worked but the house is a bit old and the road is terrible. There should be maintenance on the road - we will not stay at the lodge again just because of the road.

Incredibly beautiful scenery!

The dirt road leading to Diggersrest is very rough. And the signage to find the lodge could be a bit better.

"Magoebaskloof getaway Beautiful chalet at Diggersrest lodge"

What an amazing place with beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the valley. So far it's the best cottage we stayed in. Host Johannes was very friendly and even helped us to get the fire place going
