Villa dei Marchesi Carrozza

What an amazing and uniqe experience to stay in an actual villa! Nice garden. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Sicily.

We didn't mind, but I guess some people would have a problem with the bathroom not having a door.

The stay we had was somewhere in between, the house is grant with a really big garden and a pool which was nice but rooms are a tiny bit dated. We had to request a different room because the fragrance from the cleaning products and air freshener was so strong it was impossible to stay in the room. The owner changed the room for us with no problem and although the new room also had quite strong smell, it was much weaker. The included breakfast was great. The general area is more of a stay for 1 night and move on although there were some really great vegetable stores.

The villa, located in a residential area, is very nice with a beautiful, large garden. Roberto welcomed us and proudly showed us around. Later he fed the chickens and turtles with our 2 kids, which was a lot of fun for them. Sadly the weather was so bad that the pool was unavailable, but oh well, that happens. Roberto gave us some loquat seeds from the garden and are trying to grown them here :) We had a nice breakfast in our room, when the weather is nicer, it is presented in the garden, which I am sad we couldn't do (it was raining cats and dogs at the time).

This was an oasis for us to stay, one of the best place during 2week holidays in Sicily - so peaceful, so beautiful, hidden unexpected gem between ordinary buildings is this 19th century villa with amazing garden, cozy room and extremely supportive hosts. I can say only appreciation words for having us, helping us with our emergency situation, saving this beauty and allowing people to share this experience!

cute little b&b with friendly hosting family, plush garden with a cat, hidden little turtoise and a nice, even though small pool to take a dip. apartment itself was big enough for us so we enjoyed it. a sweet homemade breakfast is served daily (at 8 am earliest but the host was so kind to pay out the fee for one day as we had to leave early). location is nice for the beach (shadeless, 5 mins to walk) and the train station (also 5 mins to walk, if you can handle the stairs). the village itself felt a bit devastated on our stay (sunday and monday), but for people searching peace this might suit well.

Everything - by far the best stay that we had on the island ! What a beautiful house and garden as well! And the proprietor was amazing and so helpful.
