Sunset Lodge & Safaris

This lodge is an absolute gem. We saw animals every evening & night, the food is delicious and has a great variety and on top of that, the 2 hosts are incredibly friendly. They made us feel at home from the minute we got there and made our stay very special. We went to a game drive with Vincent, which was really nice as he is very experienced and has information about every animal living in Kruger. Overall, I can not recommend stay here enough, value for money is off the charts. So glad we found this lodge!

Great hospitality from Toni and Vincent, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wir hatten einen rundum großartigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Garten und konnten die Geräusche der Natur in einem privaten Wildreservat erleben. Die Besitzer, Toni und Vincent, waren außergewöhnlich herzlich und hilfsbereit und haben sich wirklich um alles gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr komfortabel, mit einer besonderen Kombination aus Innen- und Außendusche. Auch das Essen war hervorragend – frisch zubereitet, abwechslungsreich und individuell abgestimmt. Zusätzlich konnten wir problemlos Safaris über die Lodge buchen, und das Team war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders positiv war auch der flexible Check-in, sodass wir direkt genug Zeit für unsere Safari hatten. Insgesamt ein wirklich unvergesslicher Aufenthalt mit tollem Service. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Gibt es nichts zu nennen, da alles perfekt war.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Ruhe, die vielen Tiere auf dem Gelände, die Sonnenuntergänge. Die Natur hatte die große Leinwand herausgeholt und zog uns voll in ihren Bann.

Vincent and Toni were exceptional hosts who anticipated every need and made our first safari a truly magical experience. Being able to watch zebras, wildebeest, and kudus from our room and during dinner was an incredible privilege. The food was outstanding, and our stay was absolutely delightful. We would highly recommend this place.

We spent a total of five nights at Sunset Lodge. Toni and Vincent are wonderful hosts. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and our stay unforgettable. We had two beautiful rooms overlooking the bush. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The excursions with Vincent were also wonderful, for example, the visit to the Panorama Route. The conversations with Vincent and Toni in the evenings over a relaxing drink were great, and we learned a lot about animals, nature, and South Africa. Our stay at Sunset Lodge was very special, and I have rarely experienced such dedicated owners. We simply felt welcome. We would like to sincerely thank Toni, Vincent, and their team for the wonderful time. I can highly recommend a stay at Sunset Lodge to anyone looking for a special experience away from mass tourism.
