I had high hopes for Sweet Jungle Bungalows based on its rustic charm and location, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. First off, the location is quite remote, and while this might appeal to some looking for a secluded getaway, the lack of clear signage and bumpy path to get there made it a challenge to find. Once we arrived, the setting was lush and surrounded by nature, but the bungalows themselves were disappointing. The accommodations were very basic, which I anticipated, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bed had a thin mattress that was uncomfortable, and the mosquito net provided was torn, which made for a restless night. There were also insects in the room, which is somewhat expected in a jungle setting but could have been minimized with better maintenance. The bathroom facilities were below standard, with weak water pressure and an unpleasant odor. The lack of hot water and proper lighting made showering an uncomfortable experience. Service was another letdown. While the staff were friendly, they seemed disorganized and not particularly attentive. Food options were limited, and the wait times for meals were excessively long, even when the place wasn’t busy. Overall, Sweet Jungle Bungalows may suit travelers who are extremely low-maintenance and looking to unplug completely, but for those expecting even a basic level of comfort and cleanliness, it’s not the best choice. With some improvements in maintenance and service, it could have potential, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Very kind people and simple but comfy accomodation. Great food (especially local meals). Bungalows are well sealed against mosquitoes and they equip you with various repellents. And it works great. Loved the terrace and the hammocks!

The bungalow was big and it was clean. The shower had hot water which worked very well. The owner of the place is very nice and always smiling.

The WiFi did not work very well but it was not a big deal.
