Sweet Jungle Bungalows

Really cute little bungalows in the middle of the jungle only a few minutes away from beaches, excellent location, quiet but close to everything. Really helpful and friendly staff - we had a slight hiccup about a potential room change however the manager quickly rectified and was super helpful. These are basic wooden bungalows so bugs etc can come in however mosquito nets are provided as well as a large fan for non-aircon rooms which we found worked fine. Shower also had a surprising amount of warm water.

Ocean view bungalows are a 3-5 minute walk up a steep hill/stairs so just to be bare in mind with the heat. Staff will help with luggage though so it wasn't too much of an issue for us.

The owner, his family and staf were amazing, very nice and friendly. I really appreciate that I could stay there with my dog. It is very simple accomodation, but clean, with lovely terasse. And you can eat delicious meals in their restaurant.

It was just far enough away from all the noise in the main area, but close enough to walk and enjoy everything.

Rooms a bit run down and barebones, but we enjoyed the simplicity.

Lovely welcoming and helpful staff, big comfortable beds, beautiful and peaceful bungalows. The balcony with hammock and sofa is particularly nice and the aircon and fan worked well to stay cool. Overall great value for money - stayed here for a break from hostels and it's cheaper than most private hostel rooms I've seen.

There's a slight gap under the door so bugs/lizards could get in and out.

The staff here are amazing!! They welcome you so beautifully and can’t do enough for you during your stay! The bungalows are very spacious and the location is perfect. Would 100% recommend

We were a family of 5 travelling with our dog. The owner was super helpful and very sweet - helped us with our luggage from and to the pier, rented motorbikes and helped us organize all our trips around the island. They have a restaurant at the reception area which is so convenient! The views from our bungalows were stunning as 2 of them faced the ocean. One bungalow was a garden view and it was so peaceful. Rooms were cleaned every other day. All of us had such a great stay and really appreciated everyone's hospitality!

The bungalow is really nice, and the one I got has a sea view. I can hear the ocean from my bungalow and even watch the sunrise. During our stay, my partner got sick, so we didn’t want to wait for the ferry in the hot outdoor restaurant. The owner was kind enough to let us stay in the bungalow until our ferry arrived. Thank you for that bong 🙏
