La Luna Cabins

La Luna Cabins was a very cute and pleasant stay. The hosts were very sweet, kind, and helpful. The surrounding village was lovely to walk around and explore with a nice waterfall nearby... and Lovely views when you wake up. We just stayed one night.

The location is quite far from the city center, but we knew this when we booked. We just booked it because it was cute and we like walking, so we didn't mind. Plus, the host can arrange a tuk-tuk if you need it. The cabin was cold (even though we were there in March), so bring warm clothes... Hopefully, the hosts have a heater to use, but I'm not sure. The toilet was a bit loose when we were there, and the upstairs loft room made quite a bit of noise when moving and there is a bit of a draft/wind coming through the unsealed window. Other than these small things that can easily be fixed... it was a cute and lovely stay with lovely views.

Peacful, realaxing and very calming place. The location is in front of a tea garden, 500m from pedro tea factory and 1km from loversleap waterfall.The host kushan and his mom was really friendly and helpful. Arranged everything we needed , tuktuk, traveling plans, medicine.. If you want hiking they arranged it.. will definitely recommend if you are looking for a stay in Nuwaraeliya

- De lauwe douche - De locatie van wc ten opzichte van de douche. Deze zat zo dichtbij dat de wc altijd nat was. In combinatie met de hoge luchtvochtigheid wordt dit nauwelijks droog. - De lekkage aan de vloer. Hierdoor bleef het huis voortdurend nat. - De moskee zat vlakbij dat 's ochtends vroeg begon met het ochtendgebed. Dit maakte ons een aantal keer wakker. - De deurpost van 1.70

The owner Kushan with his mum was very friendly and always replied fast on WhatsApp, when we arrived we were served tea.

We had informed the day before that we should arrive around 2 pm, check in was from 11. But when we arrived the room wasn’t finished, we were served tea but still had to wait 25-30 min (we were all freezing after the 3h drive in rain). The cabin was cold, but it was okey during the night thanks to heavy blankets. There were no mosquito net, so the mosquitos held us awake until 4 am… People were living in the room below and you could hear them loud and clear. The cabin is made of metal. The location is probably not the best, but this was more a stop on a long drive so for us it was okey.

Such a warm welcome from the owner and his mother, who made sure everything was perfect for us. The owner was very thoughtful and arranged an excellent local tour guide at our request, which allowed us to see all the best spots in a short amount of time. And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing — both the food and the beautiful breakfast location. A definite must-visit!

Super vriendelijke host. Kamer die wij hadden stond niet op de foto’s. Het is een donkere sfeerloze kamer. Koude vochtige nacht gehad. Door deze situatie zijn nacht eerder vertrokken. Sympathiek en sportief opgevangen voor de host. Geadviseerd foto’s van de beneden kamer te posten voor verwachting van gasten.

La Luna Cabins was such a cozy little spot — it was a bit smaller than expected, but that didn’t bother us at all. The hosts were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the location was great for getting around. Overall, it had a lovely, homely vibe that made our stay really comfortable.

El tracte dels propietaris va ser molt bo. Ens can fer un sopar i esmorzar molt bons. Està ubicat en mig de plantacions de te, lo qual el fa un lloc bastant idílic.

Va fer molt de fred a la nit i amb la manta que ens van deixar va ser insuficient. L’habitació era molt petita per a nosaltres 3 i les maletes. El sostre es de xapa i tota l’estona feia soroll que va dificultar dormir bé. Hi havia molta llum al carrer que no es podia tapar amb cortines.
