La Luna Cabins

Kushan the owner is lovely and has lots of great tips and a wealth of knowledge for things to see in the area. The cabin was very cute and overlooks a tea plantation.

The host was a very very lovely human being. Accomodating and very helpful with local suggestions. On point with food tips. Anything we asked he would do!! He gave us tea when we got there and provided more blankets and offered us jerseys! There is a really cute treehouse outside bit that we didn’t realise we had!! The place was very artisanal and full of surprises!! Breakfast was not included but only 700 rupees person but worth every penny as the food was local, homemade and extensive!!! He was able to organise transport from the train for 5 of us and very very reasonable price. Did not try and sell us a tour The place looks out of the way on paper but the busses are really easily accessible and cheap to anywhere! Walking distance from lovers leap

The insulation was a bit too little and it was a bit chilly. He did offer blankets to accommodate!!! Still worth the stay, just bring a jumper! Very cozy and unique stay otherwise!

Really lovely cabin, situated amongst the hills and 10 mins ride into the main town. Warm shower was great, and a very helpful host.

Nuwara Eliya does get cold at night and experiences a lot of rain, a heater would be very helpful for guests but big blankets are provided which work well too.

It is a super quiet and lovely place, a walking distance to lovers leap waterfall and pedro tea factory, the owner was super helpful and helped us with many things such as tuk tuk, traveling plans, laundry.. great location, calming place, Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous too. ,
