The place was clean, the location although not in the center, perfect to disconnect and enjoy beautiful views

De fijnste plek waar we de hele rondreis hebben gezeten. Het verblijft ligt een beetje buiten het centrum van het dorpje, maar het is prima te doen! De familie die er woont is fantastisch. Regelen alles wanneer je ernaar vraagt.

Eigenlijk was er niks negatiefs.

Absolut paradiesische Lage am See. Blick auf den Lion King phänomenal. Besitzerfamilie äußerst herzlich und bemüht die Gäste zufriedenzustellen.

Es handelt sich um ein Homestay, entsprechend ist die Ausstattung insgesamt sehr einfach gehalten. Beispielsweise lässt sich der Vorhang nicht vollständig schließen, wodurch die Privatsphäre etwas eingeschränkt ist. Die Lage direkt am See ist sehr schön und idyllisch, allerdings sollte man wissen, dass die Unterkunft recht abgelegen ist. Die herzliche und freundliche Art der Familie macht jedoch vieles wieder wett und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre.

tolle Lage, sehr freundlicher Empfang und super Essen

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Hotel. Die Atmosphäre ist so friedlich, die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, und alles fühlte sich von Anfang an sehr besonders an. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Familie für ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Ein besonderer Dank geht an den Sohn des Besitzers, der uns freundlicherweise zum Pidurangala-Felsen und zum Höhlentempel von Dambulla begleitete - diese unvergesslichen Erlebnisse machten unsere Reise noch bedeutungsvoller. Wir werden uns immer mit Freude und Dankbarkeit an diesen Ort erinnern und hoffen, dass wir eines Tages wiederkommen können.

Das die Lage bisschen weit weg von allem war und es auch zu weit zum laufen gewesen wäre

Chami and his family were excellent hosts! They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable- taking us to scenic views and lake swims. Highly recommend doing a cooking class- one of the best meals we had! Beautiful views, super comfortable and the aircon was a godsend in the heat. Do reccommend bringing alot of bug spray as youre out in the wild. It was also quite hard to find as it was quite rural but any trips you want to do ask and chami will be super helpful with advice/transport

We had a great stay, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, we took a cooking class which was really fun and the hosts were able to help us a lot with transport to main attractions and from the airport. The homestay is simple and clean, breakfast is delicious we highly recommend!

Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
