USEverything was very clean. We thought it might be a hassle to have shared toilets and baths, but it was not an issue at all. The location was great - in a little quieter part of the village but still very convenient to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
USLoved staying at Marushige Lodge - convenient location and very friendly staff. Seiko and Yuki are fantastic. Definitely get the breakfast as well - Very tasty and different selections each day. Would love to stay there again.

CHNot much …Perhaps that it’s not too far away from slopes and tele-cabin.. and that there is a small fitness room
Toilets, sinks and showers are shared; showers need to be booked the day before .. no flexibility …so no washing when wanted not needed .. Beds and door frames not suited for people taller than 1.9m… Not exactly friendly .. foreigners seemingly not really welcome …only tolerated
