Tolle Alleinlage auf dem Plateau. Direkt in der üppigen Natur. Ruhig, komfortabel, diverse special places! Sehr gutes Essen und alle sind überaus nett.

The view from the room was spectacular, the bathroom was amazing, and the room itself was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding as well. If you enjoy barbecue, I highly recommend getting the braai kit to cook on the balcony — the food was incredible. The staff was very attentive, and the hotel has wonderful facilities overall.

Since we only stayed for one night, we weren’t able to get appointments at the spa. I would recommend booking in advance.

Bellissima la posizione, nel bosco e con vista cascata. Camera spaziosa con letto comodissimo. Colazione ottima. Stupenda la Jacuzzi esterna sempre aperta. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante interno alla struttura, ottimo. Anche perché il Lodge si trova alla fine di una strada sterrata di circa 6-7 km (meglio arrivare con la luce).

This is a gorgeous property submerged in nature. Our room had the most stunning views over the forests and sea, and the sounds of nature are a soul "pick-me-up". The room was large: two balconies, an area to braai, if you wanted to (on one of the balconies), a kitchenette connected to a little sitting room with a large fireplace. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. The room is not super modern but very comfy, pretty and spotless, and you had everything you needed. There was even a yoga matt if you felt like some exercise. There are a number or walking/running routes, sauna's hot tubs outside overlooking beautiful spots in the forest next to the river or Jacuzzis, also placed in a few spots. The swimming pool was a great relieve after a long walk in nature. The breakfast room is situated at the main lodge, with a wonderful buffet "cold "breakfast with a warm breakfast that you may order from a menu. The best part of breakfast, even better than the "cheffy" food, is the view. The view is 2nd to none and is something to experience -BEAUTIFUL! Dinner is served (the building where Reception is) at the "nursery". It is fairytale pretty in the evening with a lovely a-la-carte menu (also catering for Vegan and Vegetarians). We loved walking the couple of km's trails (you can do longer), and the walks to the look-out points. We would definitely recommend this PERFECT place if you are happy to stay put, in nature. You can't get to the sea, but you are surrounded by forests. It is a bit "secluded" and although you would be able to drive out to go do some activities it is a bit of a drive to get back to the main road. Older children/teenagers might not be so happy, if they are not into nature.

We loved the experience and would only suggest that the trails and walks be described a little bit more. There were areas that were rather steep and challenging to maneuver. The steps to the look-out point are very steep and never ending (felt like it at one point) -I think I counted 200 steps! Having said this, I survived the walks and even the 200 steps, but a warning would have been nice :) The Wi-Fi is only available in the room with choppy cellphone access on the rest of the reserve.
