Merpati island is a little paradise. Bungalows are new, clean and comfortable. Food is very nice. House reef is beautiful. All activities are at good price and worth it. We had amazing stay.

Island Paradise with good service (worlds apart from more basic homestays in Raja Ampat).

Brigette is a fantastic host supported by her very able team in the kitchen and diving. Eddie, Jodi, Titus all a very able diving team. the location is absolutely worth all the travel involved.

Hot and humid even at night...ceiling fans would have helped

This was the last of 5 homestays during my 3 weeks in RA and I was totally impressed! The island is tropical bliss and the bungalows are immaculate, nicely furnished with comfy bed and pillows, bathroom with running water and terrace with stunning views of Batanta. The Papuan artwork is a nice touch and you can feel the love that has gone into creating this place. Brigitte and Jeff are fantastic hosts, very friendly and down to earth people and I really enjoyed being their guest! Sharing meal times and excursions with some of the other guests was a real treat and I will always remember the amazing Batanta waterfall hike with the hosts' fun loving friends from France! Although this is a dive lodge, it is just as good for non divers like me. The house reef is excellent for snorkeling and you can have the island to yourself when most of the guests go diving for the day. The food was wholesome and tasty, cooked and served in the beautiful overwater restaurant with sharks sometimes cruising underneath. The young ,happy and fun loving staff are an asset to this place and it was a pleasure getting to know some of them! This is quality accommodation in a gorgeous RA setting and with all meals included it is also value for money! Loved my stay and hope to visit again for longer

Tabari Dive Lodge is truly the best dive resort we ever stayed in. Located in the center of Raja Ampat and close to all good dive sites this place makes you feel like living on your own little island. The owners Brigitte and Jeff and their local staff are very welcoming and for the time of your stay you become a part of their little family in paradise. They made great effort to respond to every request and wishes we had. The food was really great and various which is not necessarly the case in remote places in Raja Ampat. The beach huts are basic and built in the local tradition but very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished with your own bathroom and proper shower. From the little terrasses in fron of the huts you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset in your hammock! There is a great house reef for snorkeling and the diving went smooth and well organised with a spacious dive boat, safe rental equipment and good dive guides for a fair price without additional or hidden costs like in some other places in Raja Ampat. We enjoyed every single day with amazing diving and superb hospitality and food on paradise island. Ow and there were even little dog puppies living in the resort so what else could you ask for? :)

We had an amazing stay at Tabari Lodge. Brigitte really made us feel at home. The reef right off the lodge is great, full of fish and we even saw a turtle and a some rays just snorkeling around. The diving was also great they took us to amazing places every day. Big thank you to all of the staff!

We loved everything. A tip: there is no AC/fans in the room so if you suffer from the heat maybe consider bringing a battery/USB fan with you :) For us was totally fine but can can understand might be challenging for some.

A great option for our stay in Raja Ampat. The island is beautiful and calm. The sunsets are incredible. The attention of the staff is extraordinary, you feel at home. Brigitte is a great hostess, she tries to help you with everything and make your stay very pleasant. Quality food, fresh and varied. The diving center works wonderfully, equipment in good condition and a super professional dive Master. Close to the best diving spots. The cotage are beautiful and comfortable. We would definitely go back!
