BM Island Inn

The room is very good deal for the price, really good location close to the restaurants beach is in walking distance. The owner is nice and friendly, the room doesn’t have bin but when you ask they will bring to you the same new towels…

Sometimes is very noisy because you are in the center with lots of bars and restaurants.

The location is great, at the corner of the main bars and restaurants of Santa Fe The price was also very cheap Wifi was working good

Out of of 3 rooms 3 were very moldy, and one almost had not day light… When you turn off the AC the mold smell is strong We spent 2 days without water so could not shower The rooms are old, no hot water

The location was good as the inn is nearby all spots to explore within Bantayan Clean and spacious private room also. Cleaner than R&D Island Lodge. They have bike rental which I just knew after I rented a bike from the house just across for my 1st day. For my 2nd day, i rented BM Island Inn bike which cost 150 pesos for 24 hrs. I extended for 2 hours and they charged me 200 pesos.

The inn is within the same compound together with R&D Island Lodge and their “glass door” office is pretty confusing… i think it would be helpful if they put up a sign where the office is as the caretakers barely go out and there was no one to talk to. I checked in late and I entered the wrong room 😭😭 The caretaker said she saw me coming in but she thought I was a guest for R&D. I think she should have asked cos I did not see her at that point. The AC units also were leaking from the outside. And although there were basins placed to catch the leak, I still had to call them out cos the basins were full already. They didnt know, cos again, the caretakers barely go out. I almost slipped on the stairs… If you’re a solo traveler and looking for a sort of travelers community and friendly staff, definitely not recommending to stay here. The staff here barely talks and not very accommodating.

The place is in a great location, very close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and the beach. It’s a good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep, like we did. The staff were nice, and the room was clean. We are happy with our stay. Thank you. We will come back again

The place is near a disco or club, so it gets loud in the evening and at night. If you want a quiet place to relax in the evening, this might not be the best choice. However, this isn’t the owner’s fault, and the loud music usually stops after midnight.
