Remote getaway in the mountains. Host and whole staff could not have been more courteous, really made me felt welcome even though I speak no Chinese. Food served on the property was truly exceptional, still thinking about the breakfast and dinner dishes. Room was spotless and bed super comfortable. Interesting art pieces made by the owner surround the property. Must stay if you visit the area, an unforgettable mountain house.

Wish I could have stayed longer and shown my friends. Seems like a good place to go with a group.

Amazing and Lovely staff/family the took such good care of us ! The bedroom had an amazing view. We really felt at home. Thank you!

Not a criticism but worth mentioning that booking says it is a few kilomètres away from practical logistic points to access Alishan, but in fact it is much further away. So perfect to explore surrounding mountains (stunning) but not alishan.

It was magical. The owners are super friendly and we had a great time. They gave us great advise for hikes and the food was also great. It felt like a second home. It's in the middle of nature and they have their own tea Plantage.

Value for money was just not good. The place is a bit dated, especially the bathrooms could use improvement, and for that it's just too expensive.
