Hajo´s Germania Lodge & Irish Pub

My husband and I stopped here for a quick beer after strolling around and I must say that from all the places we've been to in Ruedesheim the staff here was the friendliest. I can't say anything about the food, but they had a good drinks menu, a fresh draft cider and a funny outside sitting area that used to be a parking lot. If you're tired of the touristy buzz just stop by here to have a break, it's nice and they have live music.

Well what can I say Kilkenny Guinness Hop house Warm welcome here with a nice Irish themed day called in on a Tuesday evening was quiet but still enjoyed a nice few beers Kilkenny was good not like home Guinness poured as it should be but a little stronger in taste and as we know does not TravelWise ell but still enjoyable Hope house a little flat Seams to be the gas mix But worth while visiting

Visited as a family. Room was well equipped, large and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Self service honesty minibar and plenty of public areas. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Stayed recently for three nights while visiting the Christmas Markets. What a lovely place! Warm welcome from Hajo, Andrea and Patrick. Had a spacious bedroom suitable for our party of three with a tea station and seating area and computer are on same floor. Great Irish pub and smoking room nicely decorated.

Hajo's Germania Lodge and Irish pub is a most quaint and comfortable facility for accommodation. They have an Irish pub too. Very typical of an Irish type pub. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English language fluently. This is most helpful. The breakfast is good quality and plentiful..... wide selection of cold meats, cheeses, drinks, teas, fruit, etc. Mostly Rudesheim shops, restaurants and drinking holes do speak English very well. This town is very orientated for foreign tourists. Hajo's has comfortable rooms with adequate bathroom facility. The Lodge is well situated in Rudesheim, but positioned next to the railway line which is very noisy during the night especially with freight trains passing. You do get used to it though. Lots of eating facilities. You need to walk and investigate. Easy walk. Good town for a party. Much more oriented for socialising and drinking than most Rhineland towns. Rudesheim is accessible by regular cheap ferry from Bingen.

A great set up, good size bar with live music and a great selection of drinks, games room, parking, front and rear entrance, large drink dispenser ( when bar shut)!!! Lovely rooms with balcony and very comfortable bed, fresh continental breakfast with option of fry up at a reasonable price, basement nightclub after 11pm. Very helpful and courteous staff Fantastic location at a very reasonable price.

I have just spend a week at Hajo's Hotel Germania with my husband and our 2 daughters (12 and 9). The hotel is extremely central to most attractions, bars and restaurants as well as the train station and the waterfront. We were very well accommodated in a spacious and airy family room, overlooking the vineyards and old part of the town. The room had two double beds, a sofa and table, TV and plenty of storage space for our belongings (including our own safe!) The bathroom was very spacious too, with two large sinks, a bath tub and a shower! Cable TV and good Wifi were a great bonus for our girls. Just outside the room was a tea and coffee station, providing a great selection of teas, coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate. There were also bottles of drinking water in the room, that could be refilled at a special tap by the 'honesty mini bar' down the hall. Breakfast had a lovely selection of breads and rolls, meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts and cereals as well as an option of eggs cooked to order. The Irish pub downstairs has live music most weekends and a not-to-be-missed Irish sing-along night on Thursdays! A lovely place with a great atmosphere! The staff are very helpful and the owner is not only a good host, but also a great singer at the irish night!

We chose this hotel because it has parking and is very close to the Drosselgasse. Brilliant location, our 2 rooms had balconies overlooking the Rhein, great place to watch the boats on the river and the trains going by. The hotel is above a lovely Irish bar, we joined in with the Irish folk night for a while but it was not audible in the room and ended before midnight. Friendly helpful staff, would have happily stayed longer. Good value - recommended.

I went there with my friends for business for a few days.The hotel location quite nice,easy to get the transportation,also the staffs were helpful.They spoke English to me very very confidently.So over all is perfect.

We stayed here on our first night of an 11 night European Holiday. Nowhere else on the trip were the hosts so nice. The location next to the Christmas market was perfect. I wish we had stayed the whole vacation right here.
