"Great stay"

8.0

Stayed last summer (Review a little late). Good location, the owner was very nice and accommodating. Was there during Rein in Flames which is one of the coolest things I've ever done. I believe it is always the first Saturday of July they have a flotilla of boats that get together and go upstream. After about an hour they turn around (And meet other boats) and as you go downstream each Village blows off their Fireworks ending in Rudesheim! Unfortunately when I was there I was speaking with a Gentleman from the Tourist office who said it was the hottest stretch of days EVER in Rudesheim (Weren't we lucky!) and there is no AC at Hajo's. They gave us a fan and we kept the window open so the trains were a problem, but made it bearable. I really enjoyed the bar and being on the third floor it was not too loud although you could hear the music on nights they had live entertainment. Breakfast was good and the area is very nice to stroll around!

"Great Bed and Breakfast"

8.0

Easy location and walk from the train - literally, a 5-10 minute walk to the train that will take you to/from Frankfurt. Great morning continental breakfast. Clean rooms and cozy accommodations. Short walk in to the town of Rudesheim. Would definitely stay here again. There are some reviews with complaints about the trains, but we were in a room where we did not have this issue. Our neighbor was a little loud on the last night we were there, but eh, that happens right??

"Oh, the trains!"

8.0

This hotel has a great location, near the train station and across the street from where the river boats leave. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. There is no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The view from the room was great, as was the room. Quite large with a small seating area. There is a coffee maker on the 1st (American 2nd) floor, as well as an honor mini bar and computer for guest's use. You get two keys, one for the room and one for the night entrance. The biggest problem is the train noise. You can't leave your windows open because the train traffic is constant. It is not just this hotel; all of them along the river have the same problem.

"Fantastic German Hospitality"

10.0

This hotel is in the perfect location. If the car park is full there is plenty of parking close by and at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good breakfast included. The bar is good and the staff can pull an excellent pint of Guinness. Easy reach of the cable cars to the monument of Germania and all other attractions in Rudesheim.

"Great traditional Germany Bed & Breakfast!"

10.0

I was pleasantly surprised by this family-run bed and breakfast, which offers cozy accommodations and lively weekend nightlife in Rüdesheim am Rhein and only a 5-minute walk from Rüdesheim Train Station. The best is the gorgeous view of the Rhine River. They also have free internet access in your room and a delicious buffet breakfast every morning (Bree cheeses, baguettes, fruit, yogurts, assorted meats, juice, cereals, jams, and hard boiled eggs). The rooms themselves are airy and peaceful and you will not be disturbed by the pub music below. Absolute must in this famous wine country!

"Nice place in a nice town"

8.0

As a family of five, were always happy when a hotel can accommodate us. We had five beds in a large room which was adequate. The town is surprisingly touristy, with plenty of restaurants, gift shops, etc. The staff was not overly friendly and could be a bit abrupt, but the gentleman at the desk when we checked in went out of his way to accommodate our van even though the lot was full. Much appreciated. Price was a bit high but I'm glad we made this a stop on our tour.

"Noisy, cramped, rude, and overpriced!"

2.0

This "hotel" (more like a motel/hostel) is terrible! It's not much better than a hostel but way pricier! I booked a single-room for myself and a guest (as you would ANY normal hotel in the USA) but was then forced to pay €100 extra for my guest and to endure a lot of rudness and griping from the owners. The room was very small and dingy, the bed was hardly large enough for one person, and it's not a good sign when the hotel gives you complimentary earplugs: yes it was THAT noisy. The band downstairs would play until the wee hours of the morning and the walls were paper-thin. The train going by every half hour actually provided a relief from all the other noise. Moreover, the first morning we were rudely awakened when the cleaning lady entered our room WITHOUT KNOCKING. While we were there the internet went dead for a whole day and we couldn't check our flight information. The pub is staffed by immature teenagers who spend their time socializing instead of doing their job. I simply can't understand how this place has such positive reviews in general.

"A lovely find"

8.0

Not a place my Wife and I would normally use but a wonderful find. The staff and atmosphere were excellent and the owner very welcoming and friendly. Situated on the main road in Rudesheim it is very convenient for the local attractions. Driks were reasonably priced and evening entertainment good.
