Average stay in Alpine – some good points, but overall just okay Our stay was generally pleasant, and this hotel is one of the more affordable options in Alpine, though still quite expensive for what it offers. We stayed two nights with our dog. The room had two beds, but the mattresses were of poor quality — one of them had a noticeable dip in the center, which made it uncomfortable. The room lacked basic amenities such as a hair dryer, mini fridge, and microwave, which was inconvenient, especially for a longer stay. Cleanliness was also just average — we noticed some dirt in the bathroom and even on the bed. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely could be better. On the positive side, there’s a restaurant right next to the hotel (owned by the same property, I believe). We had a great experience there — the man who served us was very polite, kind, and helpful, and the food was excellent. The place itself has a certain charm, and the area felt peaceful. Overall, it was an okay experience — not terrible, not great, just average.

I requested downstairs room and was put iin room on second floor. Night check in clerk was rude and unprofessional. The heating systems overwhelmed the small room and was hard to set to a comfortable temperature. The TV didn't work. There is no fridge or microwave. The room was very small. The floors felt dirty on bare feet. The bed springs were quite squeaky. The lighting was way too bright. There were no lamps only bright overhead ceiling lights
