Very nice accommodation, located a few minutes away from Ella and with an amazing view on the Nine Arches Bridge. The owners are very friendly and supportive, and arrange a very nice breakfast (Sri Lankan or Western). Also the WiFi is really great here!

There are very limited electricity sockets and the bathroom is a bit smelly.

Great location. The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to help the guests. It was a wonderful stay..

Our stay at Ella Barn Hills was absolutely wonderful! Finding accommodation with such a breathtaking view at this price is truly rare. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always ensuring our needs were met. Her husband was also fantastic—whenever we needed a ride to the town center, he offered transport at non-touristy prices, making our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the possibility to get drinking water directly from the property, which was a great bonus. The breakfast, lovingly prepared even in the early morning hours, was simply delicious, and enjoying it with a view of the Nine Arch Bridge made it even more special. Additionally, they were very helpful in arranging transport to farther locations and giving great local recommendations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Ella. You won’t be disappointed!

We LOVED everything! The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

There is no break fast served

there is no way to reach the hotel. only auto goes there as the path is a narrow one and if another auto comes in opposite direction then , it is difficult to cross. Such is the route. The owner of the property is very rude and don't have respect for India as well Indians . they literally made us stand and collected more than the booking amount and threatened us to call the local police . Such is the property and owner of the property. If you have to eat lunch/dinner then we have to go by auto nearly 6 to 7 kms . Travellers please don't choose / book this hotel.

Pradeepa and Nihal are so kind, they went out of their way to help us and did everything they could toake our trip special. We've made some lifelong friends with them, ans can't wait to revisit. The accommodation is clean (the mats inside are cleaned in between each stay which isn't common in SL), well enclosed so no wildlife can get in. The view is insane, so beautiful. Pradeepa provided us with breakfast, which was so tasty and made with love. My family came to meet us in Ella after a couple of days, ans Nihal helped us arrange a tuk tuk tour, as well as transport to and from our new accommodation. Beautiful people and a beautiful family. I could not recommend this place enough, we will certainly be visiting again. Thank you Nihal and Pradeepa for looking after us, we can't wait to see you again soon. Lots of love, Bram and Jasmine

Nothing... It was all fantastic.

Our host family was so caring. They offered us to drive us to town so that we can drink something as well as preparing breakfast with love. The view of the bridge is probably the best you can get, no arguing about that.

the flush of the toilet was sometimes more of a drip, but after a few days in Sri lanka I'd say it's more like a country thing ;)
