Perfect location if you are not interested in the city life. It is far from the city, but very close to nature. Just at the beginning of the trailhead to Ella rock. Fantastic bath in the river and one of the best tiny restaurants we tasted in Sri Lanka. Of course if you want to go to Ella city you can go by uber/tuk tuk (1200-1500 rupee) and by train - one stop (10 minutes) by 60 rupee for 4 persons (yes, 60!)

There were just two rooms and we could not be together with kids, we had to split.

"Perfect Location for Experiencing Ella"

Overall, our stay was wonderful in every aspect. I especially recommend booking this property for its location. Ella is a very touristy place, and the further you are from the town center, the better. The property is located near the train tracks, which you need to cross to reach it, and taking a walk around the area is truly one of the most beautiful experiences in Ella. To go out in the evening, you can easily get a Tuk Tuk (around 800 LKR), and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the town.

"Rustig verblijf midden in de natuur."

Prachtige ligging midden in de natuur, vlakbij Ella Rock. We hebben er heerlijk geslapen. Toen we na een etentje in Ella wat later thuis kwamen, werden we met een grote lamp opgehaald aan de parking zodat we veilig in de kamer geraakten.

Het ontbijt was vrij basic (kommetje fruit, eitje en toast met confituur) en weinig vullend.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Es ist etwas ausserhalb des Städtchens gelegen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf umliegende Hpgel und Teeplantagen. Ein Bach fliesst gleich neben dem Haus vorbei. Sehr angenehm zum einschlafen.

"Séjour de deux nuits en déconnexion totale"

Nous avons adoré la gentillesse des hôtes, la nourriture et la tranquillité du lieu (situé très près de Ella ville qui bouge !) À noter : Il faut absolument un chauffeur ou un tuktuk (nous avions les nôtres) pour rejoindre ce lieu. Une fois arrivé sur le parking il faut marcher à travers la nature et une ligne de chemin de fer pour rejoindre l’hôtel. Très atypique !

Tout était parfait !

It is for you if you enjoy off beat location. Totally cut off from busy street of Ella .

This setup got lot of potential actually. Needs better breakfast , more organized dinning area.
