Casa Gio Paraiso Escondido

We hebben echt een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Casa Gio. De communicatie verliep perfect, over alles werd op een prettige manier mee gedacht en het verblijf was erg netjes. Ook de gym en het zwembad was top. We hebben er een maand gezeten en iedere dag genoten. De locatie vonden wij perfect! Op loopafstand van Punta Zicatela, maar niet middenin de drukte. Oja, de mogelijkheid van scooterhuur was ook top. Al met al een heel fijn verblijf gehad.

Gio is an excellent host; he immediately made us feel welcome and gave us great tips on where to eat and which beaches are the most beautiful to visit, without too many tourists. We had an amazing view of the sea, and the location is within walking distance (15–20 minutes) from La Punta. Drinks were available at the bar. You simply had to write down and tally the number of drinks (for example, beers) under your room number so it could be settled at the end of your stay. Casa Gio has a small gym located in the courtyard, along with a swimming pool and several showers and toilets that everyone can use, in addition to the private bathroom in your own apartment. We also rented a scooter from him, which made it really easy to get around. It was a great experience to discover Puerto Escondido this way. On our last day, we ran into a problem with our laundry. We had dropped our clothes off at a local laundry shop, but when we came back to pick them up, the store was closed. Since we were flying home the next day, we really needed our clothes. Luckily, Gio came to our rescue—he called the shop to check if there was still a way to get our laundry, and thanks to his help, we were able to pick it up a few hours later. We’re really grateful to Gio for being such a great help, a warm and welcoming host, and just a true people’s person. I can recommend Casa Gio to everyone.

Gio made it feel like 2nd home. The spot is prime location but away from the hussel & bussel. Its like a mini family unit.

Stayed in the hut with terrace and had all I needed plus sunset view in the evening.

Everything, the vibe , the pool , the room it's amazing , everything!!

The moment I walked through the door I felt relaxed. The energy is so soothing and I felt at home. Beautiful greenery with hamacs and a small swimming pool to unwind. There is also an outdoor gym which is perfect for working out in the cooler hours. Gio is a lovely and thoughtful host. He is very attentive and always willing to help to ensure your stay is the most comfortable and enjoyable it could possibly be. It’s also close walking distance to La Punta but without the noise. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Giovani and Nallely are very sweet people. They are atending their guests very well. For every need they are there to help or advice you. They really try to make you feel at home. The place is very beautiful. You can see and feel they made it that way with a lot of love. Its not too far from La Punta. A ten to 15 min walk. A lot of people rent a bike and then its really closeby. The vibe is very nice. The place is clean and green. Lovely experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place!! If you find yourself in Puerto, definitely stay here. It’s close to everywhere you wanna be whilst being able to enjoy your own space in a tranquil, plant-filled accommodation. Gio, the owner, is amazing! Very welcoming, attentative and can inform you about whatever you’d like to do in Puerto and surroundings. I booked 5 nights but ended up staying 2 weeks. Will definitely be back soon!

Nothing could be better

Gio is amazing. Don’t believe the sad complainers! It has a beautiful garden, a gym and a small but refreshing pool. Its a bit uphill away from the party district. A little bit up the mountain with a stunning seaview. Gio helped us with everything we needed: motor, whale tour and a lot of great recommendations. Whatever you need Gio has got you :)
