USI found a scorpion in my bed and when I told the owner what had happened to me he kicked me and my 11 year-old daughter out. He asked me if I was Mexican. That this happens in Mexico. It had never happened to me in any hotel.
AUWe loved our stay at Casa Gio. Gio was very helpful & welcoming. The pool & gardens were the perfect place to relax. The kitchen in the rooms were well equipped.
SEGio was an incredible host, wish we could have stayed for longer. Low price for a huge room with 4 beds. Got great recommendations for things to do and where to eat. The courtyard is beautiful and the other people staying there were super nice. Great atmosphere, with pool and gym and easily accessible bar. Relatively close and straightforward to the beach. Good food close by in the intersection.
Nothing really major. Perhaps others could get annoyed by the roosters making noise in the morning, but with the window closed and/or earplugs it was fine.

USGreat little casual, peaceful hotel with spacious rooms. No AC but the ceiling fan honestly does the trick, the pool is a nice touch and the staff is very helpful. We loved the style of the hotel and all the plants and decor, we would have loved to stay longer! The location is a short walk from the main hub/beach access too :)
CAGBUSUSCasa Gio is the best! Gio himself is such a lovely and welcoming host, and it sets the tone among all the other guests— I’ve never stayed anywhere where everyone was so warm and friendly. The property is lush and green and must be 10 degrees (Fahrenheit) cooler than out on the street— it’s such a lovely space that we hardly hand any desire to go out exploring and spent most of our time here just lazing by the pool. Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.
