DEThe love and passion was overwhelming and made us feel one with nature and culture of Borneo. it’s back to the roots and not for someone who is looking for a luxurious stay. it’s simple but we loved it!!!!! we would like to come back again to support Howard in sustaining the culture

AUHoward has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.

GBTampat do Aman is a gem in the Tip of Borneo Howard the owner is a fantastic guy. Takes so much pride in the property and wants you to have the best time. Although Tampat is a little way from the beach, everyone gets together every morning over breakfast (which isn’t included but only a small addition fee) to discuss the days activities and where you’d like Howard to drop you off. We spent our days relaxing on empty beaches, snorkelling the reefs, eating a the best local restaurant (Ina’s) and then every evening Howard would come and collect everyone. it felt like home as soon as we arrived, and if at all possible we would jump at the chance of going back to visit. the rooms are basic, as described and shown in pictures.

BEGreat location with a real jungle vibe. A stay at this accommodation comes with it's own little nature reserve. Good value for money, would recommend everybody to stay here for a night or more when visiting tip of Borneo.

ESThe place is really nice and cosy. Howard is really welcoming and helped us a lot. The place counts with a little reserved where you can hike and see wildlife, and even do couses and learn about the flora and fauna.
It feel like the area was really hit by covid, and there are many places closed around.
MYAn interesting place, perfect for relaxing mind with cool temperatures and chirping birds. Highly recommended. I will come here again to explore more about this place.

GBHoward and his family were incredible hosts, they go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be, would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Kudat!!
MYI like the environment. It was calm , silent and comforting.
I didn't like how hard was it to find food. I think the cafe should open at the homestay too , not just at the beach.
