Cozy Cottage

Host was very kind, flexible, attentive. He prepared breakfast for us which was very large and excellent. Right next to line on the tram. We liked being away from the city center to sleep, eat breakfast. We found riding bikes to city center and points of interest was easy.

Small item but stairs are steep to loft. No problem for us, may be if someone had mobility issues. We knew this before renting the cottage.

Location: It is located very close to the tram station. 15 minutes from the center by bike. Very green, direct access to a huge park with amazing scenery. For 10€ you can take a canoe from the host and use it for the day. Really worth it. Heating: The house heating was decent, it was an AC unit controlled by the host, so you have to communicate with them for turning it on/off, but the house would get warm fast. Warm water: The water was hot all day. Free bikes We (a couple) were given two free bikes to use for our stay. It was our main means of transport. Kind host: He was always available, helpful, spoke English fluently, and gave recommendations.

"Hidden" breakfast fee: On the mobile listing (we don't know if it's Booking's fault) we couldn't see that the breakfast had an extra charge of 16€ per person per day. Not that clean: The house cleaning is only performed by the guests. There is no mat when getting inside so dirt from outside easily gets in, especially when it rains. Bathroom: The bathroom shower is not separated, no divider for the waters and the rest of the toilet and no curtain. After showering the whole WC is wet and some may even get outside.

The host was friendly and helpful.

It was uncomfortable. The loft bed was uncomfortable and difficult to manage. The bathroom was extremely small- a cupboard under the stairs and so everything was wet when you had a shower. Threadbare very small towels. No proper curtains on the windows.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Cozy Cottage. Our host gave us excellent tips. We were well informed by our host as to where best to go and how to get to places. We loved that we could use bikes to get around.

There isn't anything negative say.
