It’s a lovely quiet place in the mountains - very lonely. If you seek silence, then you are right here. The Golden Gate Park is quite close with nice hikes, but there are hikes too close to the lodge.

The pool, which is still on the Google pics isn’t available anymore. And there are no toys for kids, so bring it with you.

Breakfast was served promptly every morning. We stayed in the single-story king room and the views were breath taking. The sunrise was directly in front of your door and we also had early morning visitors - Wildebeest, Zebra and Blesbok

Very good experience , quiet, peaceful and wholesome. We had the best weekend getaway possible. The staff were very helpful and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a break.

Very transquil

The breakfast. We were catered with the same menu daily. This disappointed us. We did inform the chef that we do not eat bacon, only lamb or chicken. REgretabbly there was no compromise.
