Location, just ouside clarens

Beautiful scenery, lovely staff who were most helpful, great walks. Good shower, heat and water pressure. Great to see wild animals - zebra, blesbok.

Furniture and beds uncomfortable and ceilings are low, so we kept bumping our heads. The fridge and microwave were located behind the stairs and difficult to access. It's a difficult, bumpy 5km drive for an ordinary car from the road.

The location was amazing. Rooms fantastic and staff very friendly.

It isn't quite as easy to get back & forth to town as described. Breakfast could offer more than just normal eggs & bacon. Walks should be better marked and mapped.

When you receive guests later than the check in times, I suggest you put up a box with a safe code where they can get the key themselves. We were speeding to check in, just to speed back to Clarens to have dinner.

Location was great. Breakfast was lovely, and staff friendly. Good base to explore from.

Extra wood should have been supplied, the double bed matrass was so soft it was very uncomfortable. I think a better configuration was the two single beds upstairs and the double bed downstairs.

My wife and 3 daughters under the age of 6 really enjoyed every moment. The views are unreal! The peace and quiet is just so re-energizing. The staff were beyond amazing. Silas and Maggie looked after us for the entire stay. The rooms were spotless and super well kept. Will definitely be back.
