The positives are certainly the very helpful and accommodating staff, and a very good breakfast. I appreciate being able to leave my luggage for a few hours until I was able to get the keys for my permanent housing in Stellenbosch. The location is also fantastic - walking distance to many great cafes and restaurants!

I was disappointed with the room I was allocated as it did not match the description at all. According to booking confirmation I had booked 'Family Room' and all the photos indicated that this is an upstairs room. It also listed garden view among the amenities. Instead, I had a view to the parking lot and the serving staff quarter, which was not at all pleasant. There were no windows, only a glass door for daylight. However, because of the parking spaces right outside, it did not feel nice to even open the curtains to that. I did not bring this up upon arrival as after 20 hours of travelling I did not have any fight left in me. Be careful to ensure you get the room you booked.

The property is well located -easy to walk wherever you need to go. The staff were lovely and friendly. My room was clean and quaint.

It was in the centre of town and near the Botanic Garden which is why we chose it. The breakfast was good.

The room was in what looked like the old stable block. It was small. I asked for two chairs to be removed so that we could put our cases down. We were told the owner liked to fill the place with antiques, because of the age of the premises. The furniture was rickety and old, it wouldn't even qualify to have been sold in a charity shop. The room was dark and depressing and we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time because other residents could look in when passing. The bathroom was adequate, but many of the tiles had fallen off the walls.

Location was really good, only a few minutes to city center.

If you’re like me, coming from cold country wanting to sun-bath, please choose another properly. They have few sunbeds in shadow and you were NOT allowed to move them to be in the sun. I was rudely told if I move it from shadow to sun they would have me pay for the sunbeds?! (The two male staff members). We had to sit on the ground?! What a joke! Rooms are very noisy at evening/night so earplugs might be advised. Breakfast included were OK, but not more.

Very comfortable bed. Central location but very quiet.

Great location, friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and outdoor pool area. Yummy breakfast in the morning. Really enjoyed my tranquil stay!
