Beautiful setting. Lovely gardens. Very large pretty rooms. Charming staff. But it was the food at the restaurant that was exceptional. The restaurant has a professional chef who did a year long internship in the US. She makes unusual sophisticated and flavourful dishes using produce from the hotels beautiful vegetable gardens. I had a dish which contained mpofu the wild African spinach.I have travelled widely and I honestly think the restaurant deserves a Michelin star. The wine list had some good choices.It was a big surprise

The staff phoned the room late at night because they forgot to take the breakfast order.
