Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön mitten im Grünen und nah beim Little Adam‘s Peak und der Nine Arches Bridge. Allerdings muss man einige Steinstufen zur Unterkunft hochgehen, was mit Koffer evtl. schwierig sein könnte (wir hatten Backpacks und das war ok). Kamal bietet auch Tuk-Tuk Fahrten an. Das Sri Lankische Frühstück war sehr ausgiebig und lecker. Wir haben ebenfalls an dem Kochkurs teilgenommen - sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Matratze ist relativ weich und war auf einer Seite sehr durchgelegen. Die Familie war abends und morgens relativ laut und man konnte sie im Zimmer hören.

L’établissement est juste magnifique avec une vue incroyable. L’hôte est adorable. Vous êtes littéralement à côté des deux sites principaux de la ville. En pleine nature, tout en étant cosy. Foncez !

Kamal is very welcoming and friendly. Good advice, super service carrying the suitcase . The environment is very nice , with a view to the garden , palm trees , hills and with a lot of plants and flowers. The proximity to the nine bridges and waterfall is really an asset as well to go walking to the city center . The room is really well equipped and super clean . Bed is comfortable

I mentioned to Kamal the led lamps on the wall kept being slightly bright during the night . Nothing to do with the owner but my neighbours were speaking loud at midnight when they came back , as a suggestion to be mentioned to be quiet as both terraces are very close

Familiar property in the middle of the nature, peaceful with enormous windows. The host was helpful and the breakfast was homy and tasteful.

Not in the main town, which has down and upsides. Closer to hiking routes, so that's a plus!

Absolutely loved this property and our host. The property feels secluded and private while not being far off the main strip of restaurants, shops and bars for tourists. It was best little escape from the bustling Ella strip. We were at the Spice Lodge during my birthday and our host Kamal made it so incredibly special for me and a day I will never forget. He went out of his way to create special birthday moments for me and I will forever be grateful. He arranged tours, and taxis and anything we needed during our stay and the breakfast was delicious! The room was very large as was the bathroom and VERY clean. The Spice Lodge was by far the best place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka. I highly highly recommend.
