The hotel is really quaint and fits in with the mountain feeling. It provides exactly what one needs for both comfort and meals for the wonderful mountain walks.

"Comfortable stay in a beautiful location."

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent restaurant and bar.

Facilities need a good makeover. For example,I was regularly screwing the screws of the door handle back in.

Perfekte Lage mit Blick auf das Amphitheater der Drakensberg. Guter Ausgangspunkt zu den Tugalafällen. Hätten noch gerne den Klettersteig gemacht- zu spät gescheckt. Restaurant sehr gut.

"Wonderful experience"

Incredible views from our room, which was very comfortable and cosy. We had a problem with the geyser not getting hot and the staff were quick to make an alternative plan for us. The restaurant has a nice menu with good food. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

The entrance to the resort is a little run down and needs some upgrades, and the main road there runs through the center of the rural town of Phuthaditjhaba which is very busy with to and fro traffic, and livestock on the road side, but well worth it for the experience of being in the mountains.

Расположение - нет лучшего (ближайшего) варианта для посещения водопада Тугела и Сентинел Пик. Закрытая охраняемая территория. Рядом большой город с очень бедным населением. Это могло бы быть проблемой. Однако, попасть на территорию могут только проживающие или дневные туристы. Хорошие, разнообразные, завтраки. Вид из номера. Кондиционер. При возвращении с Сентинел Пик мы попали в проливной дождь, вся одежда и обувь были мокрыми. К утру всё высохло. Хороший напор воды в душе.

Номера после ремонта, однако отель "уставший" и некоторые части требуют реновации. Мало евро розеток. Из 5 доступных - мы могли использовать только одну. Другие были не рабочими. Завтраки начинаются в 7. И не всегда всё доступно в это время. Обычно, полное меню, было только через 15-20 минут. В 7.45 - уходит трансфер на парковку Сентинел Пик. И это время недостаточно для нормального завтрака.

The location makes this property unique. The sunrise view on the mountains is fantastic. But...

Personnel could be nicer. We sometimes had the impression to bother them. I did not like the waitress requesting the tip in cash (while it's written exactly the opposite in the menu - meaning a known bad habit), nor the homeless guy wandering between the restaurant and the bedrooms, nor the employee at the gate asking for more money.
