We had a great stay: very spacious and comfortable lodge, the staff was very friendly, excellent food!

Location was as I expected and fitted our requirements. restaurant on site was excellent as were the staff. Overall a break with the surrounding nature, birds deer, rabbits all made for the ambience of a relaxing break

We were in the Doe lodge which as the pictures show the bed room shower and bath were excellent toiled facilities good as was the living area however the kitchen area lacked working space to accommodate cooking etc also the cutlery was of a poor standard but functional The living area due to its location lacked privacy from others particularly additional residents having to access their lodges by walking directly past the patio doors of the Doe lodge

spotless clean everything we needed was provided for a short stay. bedding, towels, kitchen was well equipped, instructions for the oven was not for the model in the lodge. it took us a little time to work out as it was a digital convection system which we were unfamiliar with… got to love google.

the location our room was attached to the reception, we were visited by every new arrival as the staff were not available for a large part of the day. We would stay again but would be more selective on our room booking now that we are familiar with the setting.

Amazing lodge type rooms, wasn't exactly to expect, due to limited photos online. On arrival we absolutely loved it. The Doe had a living area, with large flat screen TV and seating for 2 to eat. A good size kitchen with all facilities you need to cook. I think we were the first to use the pots and pans as well as the oven as all were pristine. The bedroom was a huge size with an incredibly comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom that connected to the bedroom had a free standing bath and great shower, the WC had its own room too. The Doe is the only room that did not have a hot tub, and that's why we booked it, as wasn't really into hot tubs.

There is nothing to change. We loved the peace and quiet and how friendly the people where and the walks with our dog.

The bath - before I knew it leaked.

The Bath Leaking, No one to ask where I could get Wifi, The fact every other person staying wore clogs in the afternoon so It kept me up if they walked. No knowledge of the restaurant only being open after we had left. The cup and plates were dirty when we went to use them. the neighbours remote changed our TV station also, so I had to fight a Love Island Superfan who persisted we were watching it with them.
