Even better than the photos! Beautiful lodge in an even more beautiful setting.

Need wasn't that comfy (although that's personal preference) and some of the kitchen items needed cleaning

Was very homey and could heat up super easily. Lovely scenery

The wifi was extremely slow, the walls are super thin we were kept up by extremely noises neighbours having a party.

It was very warm and spacious. The bathtub is great for a long soak.

There were spiderwebs (including spider) behind the bed frame, as well as in the bathroom. We didn’t have hot water for one day, and didn’t get a warning about it.

i'm not one for long winded reviews but here we go the lodge itself was really good and we'd stay again in the same lodge no problem. if i had to whinge a bit about it,it could of done with being a little bit better soundproofing, but other than that you couldn't get vexed imho. now for the bit that really impressed me,the staff! if there was ever a case of going above and beyond to help someone(me)this is right up there my car battery died and i was stuck on the site unable to go anywhere i asked for help from a lady who i'll call yaris lady to give me a jump start and she pulled her car up in the pouring rain to help give me a jump start.sadly my battery was that far gone it would not work and start the car.the yaris lady had a young girl with her who also stood in the pouring rain and made a suggestion that she should get Simon to help. the young girl returned with Simon and he brought his car which at the time was a diesel seat and sadly it still would not jump start,Simon took the battery off his car fitted it to mine started my car,then he/we put my battery back on my car left my car running for and hour whilst my wife and i had a spot of lunch on site which i must say was very reasonably priced and bloody lovely! after lunch i turned my engine off and tried to start it back up,nothing!!! oh feck i need a new battery or i'm getting recovered back home to Sunderland! Simon to the rescue again! its a Saturday he is not at work it's his day off and yet without any sign of complaint he bends over backwards to help me again. i order a battery from eurocarparts which is a 50 minute drive from where we are each way! off he went and returned with said battery and whilst i was back in my lodge awaiting his return he'd only gone and fitted it when he came knocking to say he was back! Simon i/we can't thank you enough! sorry it's took a while to write this.
