Magical Mountain View Resort

The place is magical, amazing nature view, right in front the beautiful cliffs. The staff is so nice and helpful! The room was convenient and tidy. 1-2 nights here would be amazing. There are activities you can book with the hotel, such as Bamboo rafting, jungle tour, etc. We arrived at night, and ordered food from the staff on WhatsApp. The food was ready once we arrived, and was warm and delicious.

Mind that, there are many stairs to reach the rooms.

On a positive note, the view from the resort is genuinely lovely, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, those were the only highlights of our stay.

We stayed at Magical Mountain View Resort with high hopes, especially after a long 5-hour journey. Upon arrival, we ordered two Pad Thai dishes, but were served seafood Pad Thai instead of the shrimp version we had requested. When we asked for it to be corrected, the dish was simply taken back and returned with a single undercooked shrimp added on top, which was disappointing and not what we expected. Another concern was the lack of transparency around fees. A 7% service charge was added for every single ticket of drinks/snacks ordered at the pool, despite not being mentioned during check-in, which didn’t feel appropriate. Also a 3% fee is charged for every single payment with card. Transport pricing was also inconsistent. At check-in, we were told a ride into town would cost 150 baht per person. However, when we later asked for a ride, we were quoted 700 baht, then 500 baht. On previous evenings, the same trip had cost 300 baht total or 150 per person as originally stated. These fluctuating prices gave the impression that tourists are being taken advantage of, which felt neither fair nor professional. Overall, due to the inconsistencies and service issues, we would not choose to return and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The property all around is beautiful and very well kept. Staff were extremely kind and spoke very good english. The attention to detail is plenty. The views all around - nature sounds and morning mist - we loved it. 10/10 highly recommend

Gewoon een perfect hotel!’ De ligging, onze kamer! Wat een top bedden en super cosy ingericht!! Het uitzicht op de bergen met de mist, tijdens het ontbijt. Echt amazing! De lieve dame/manager die ons overal bij heeft geholpen. Wat een krachtig verblijf! Veel Nederlandse gezinnen met kleine kindjes aanwezig. Veel kinderspelletjes aanwezig en zwembad met een view!! Niet twijfelen, maar boeken!! Echt top!!

Het heeft een ongelijke ligging vanwege de bergen. Maar je kunt de buggy bellen als het nodig is. Alles was gewoon top!! Kids ook genoten!
