Real farm feel, a lot of pathways to go on walks, it is quiet. Really friendly staff. Dogs enjoyed it!

Beautifull surroundings, peace and tranquility! Loved the wood stove and the kitchen was well stocked with anything required. Comfortable big rooms and free streaming with a decent size t.v.. This is the place to get away from everuthing and relax. Gamu was very attentive and accomodating.

Shower is a bit tricky and cramped. Unfortunately no space to unpack clother or toiletries. First 10km of road very bad potholes but after that it becomes better.

Location, peaceful, a reflection of the midlands

The setting in the beautiful hills. The staff. Gamu and the cleaning ladies were friendly and welcoming and helpful.

The facilities are dated. One of our party turned on the shower and tge entire faucet came off. The cushions in the sitting areas were stained with bird poop. Water from the faucets we brown and dirty and we had to wash dishes with this dirty water. We were asked to drink water from containers whose lids were not sealed (where did that water come from?). Longer shower curtains needed in the comfort cabins (Stables) - when we showered the entire floor got wet.

It was a large space and accommodated all of us. The staff were really friendly and really helpful. The venue is really beautiful! The staff kept the house spotless and would come and clean every day. The horses are beautiful and so tame. Got to pet them on a number of occasions.

The power goes off regularly and they can only run the generator for 2 hours at night. The bathrooms are really old and in 1 of the bathrooms the bathtub could not be used as the water out of the taps was like mud. The tap water is not drinkable and most taps have brown coloured water coming out of them. They do provide clean drinking water daily. The kitchen is not fully equipped - there should be bigger pots and there are no mixing bowls, no glass serving bowls and no plastic bowls to store leftovers in the fridge at all. The cell phone reception is bad and the wifi works but it is really slow. Lastly coming into the property is a 2km dirt road, halfway there is a dip and the water pools up there. It turns into a big body of water and it is not easy to drive through it. They should inform guests and try and do something there to make it easier to travel.
