Kohrong Sea Views Bungalows

Le charme des petites cabanes nichées au dessus des autres habitations offrent une vue extraordinaire sur la baie. Les cabanes sont entièrement en bois avec un revêtement intérieur pour que les insectes ne rentrent pas. Le personnel est tout simplement adorable, au petit soin et nous avons même pu aller pêcher avec eux. Les journées et soirées sont très calmes. La petite montée jusqu’aux cabanes n’est pas compliqué et les chiens sont très gentils.

Le personnel est assez discret en saison calme mais ils m'ont aidé à monter mes affaires jusqu'à ma chambre et m'ont trouvé une nouvelle chambre au bout de deux nuits car j'avais pas réservé pour plus et je souhaitais rester encore un peu. La chambre est classique avec ventilateur ou clim. Une super terrasse avec chaises, table et hamac.

Il faut noter que les chambres sont tout en haut de la montagne il faut donc se faire une petite ascension avant d'atteindre la chambre. On ne peut clairement pas aller et venir comme on veut car il faut grimper mais pour toutes personnes en forme cet hébergement est top !

It's a bungalow up a hill, about a 5 minute climb. When checking in staff carries your luggage up. I found the exercise a benefit. Until I got food poisening (apparently one should avoid the BBQ on the beach, "the pharmacy makes a lot of money from that" ). My bungalow looked a little shakey but turned out to be solid.. The inside is lined with fabric to keep bugs out, though my window had no screen. I put a towel over it and sprayed with OFFbut that is probably over kill. Every night they light a mosquito coil on the balcony. I spent a lot of time in the hammock and never was harassed by bugs. There is a mosquito net inside but I did not use it. In 3 days no bugs came inside. There is a large swamp cooler but at 70% humidity it's just a big fan. Which I ran all night just in case a mosquito made it inside. But none did. The temp was comfortable. If you like your shower hot it can get hot. I had the heater off. If you are looking to lounge on the beach it's probably not the ideal area, but there is a beach and peaceful beaches are nearby. If you are looking to do stuff this is the place. 4 piers of activity. Kayaks and anything else you might want to rent. It's a village and the village is close. It's quiet, except for the sounds of the jungle and a little sound from the village at times. They no longer rent motorbikes but there is a good place 20 meters away. Good place. Fair to good value. Very pleasant, relaxing stay.

Lovely seaview from the balcony with a hammock, comfy bed, clean and 2x types of cooling fans in the room. Friendly staff!

The room/bathroom is very basic/a bit tired, but we didn’t mind it as everything else was great.
